Come rain or shine...

A really big thank you to all our fantastic volunteers who helped make our pop up Tea Room at Redfest such a great success on Saturday. Whether you baked a cake, or helped serve the tea, your support was much appreciated.

And thanks to those of of you who came along and spent your money, we raised over £150 for the Community Centre, and completely sold out of cake.

We're hoping to enjoy a fairly quiet few weeks now, as September is already looking busy! We look forward to seeing you again at St George Community Centre very soon.

Time for Tea?

The team at St George Community Centre is busy preparing a pop-up tea room as part of Redfest on Saturday 3 August.  We're planning to serve home-made cakes and scones, all profits will go to the upkeep of the community centre.

If you make a mean Victoria sandwich or fantastic flapjack, we'd love to hear from you. We're also looking for volunteers to do a stint on the day serving teas and coffees. In return we can offer you free cake and a warm glow...

Please get in touch through the blog or our Facebook page if you can help.
