Happy New Year

Happy new year from all of us at St George Community Centre. We're happy to report that all our regular groups are back this week, so if your new year resolution was to get active, why not check out our calendar? Click on What's On to find out more.

We have several things in the pipeline too, so keep an eye on our website and Facebook page to find out about new groups and activities at the centre. Don't forget that you can also sign up to our email newsletter.

And finally, we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along to our Festive Fete in December. We're delighted to announce that we raised £344.41. This has paid for essential repairs to our accessible toilet, with a little left over.

We look forward to seeing you soon at the centre, it's going to be a great year!

BBC Radio Bristol are coming to St George!

BBC Radio Bristol will be broadcasting live from the Community Centre tomorrow (Thursday 26th June) from 8.20am to 12 noon. They will be interviewing people from the local community and will welcome people stopping by to either take a look at what's going on, or if you've got a good story to tell, perhaps you might even get on the air!

Members of the committee will be there throughout the morning to keep things running smoothly.

The co-ordinator will not be available (as Thursday morning is the normal co-ordinator drop in) as the crew will be taking up her valuable working space, however you can still e-mail, text, call or facebook with any enquiries.
