Time for Tots will be running its last session until September tomorrow. If you have a tot, please come along. Cost £1.75 per child and 50p per extra child. There will be free play, snacks, songs and tea and coffee for the adults. From 9.30am-11.30am.

Community Planning Workshop Taking Place This Sunday 13th August
St George Community
Centre is hoping to re-develop its park entrance to make it more welcoming,
pleasant and accessible to everybody in the local community. If you live or
work in St George then we would like to hear your views and ideas so that we
can make this place work well for all.
You are invited to a
Community Planning Workshop which will be held at the community centre at 2pm
on Sunday 13 August. This is where we will discuss ideas and generate options

Redfest - Bambini Hub at the Centre on Saturday 5th August
Bambini Hub will be at the centre as part of Redfest, holding a Cardboard Community craft event from from 11am - 5.30pm
Use your imagination to build a cardboard community with roads, castles, caravans, shops and anything else you can imagine.
Aimed at school aged children, but they'll also be building a mini toddler city to the little ones too!

Miniature Garden Competition
St George in Bloom will be running a one day fun competition to create a Miniature Garden on a Plate, in conjunction with Redfest, here at the centre on Sunday 6th August. Design and make your mini garden on a plate no larger than 30cm in diameter to fit the theme, 'The Garden of my Dreams.' Categories are: child 4-7 years, 8-16 years and adult. You may use other items to decorate your garden but all plants must be real. Bring along your garden with a label underneath stating name, category and contact details to the centre on 6th August from 9.30-11am. Deadline 11am when judging will take place and 1st, 2nd and 3rd rosettes will be awarded in each category. www.stgeorgeinbloom.org.uk.
