The St George Community Network were pleased to have positive feedback on their ideas at the meeting in the library last week.
The next stage is to hold a meeting to formally agree the Network's structure and elect a chair and a group of people to run the organisation.
Next meeting - St George Library at 7.30pm
on Wednesday 5th July.

The Community Network will also be organising a public meeting in St George during the summer to discuss the Council's current 'Your Neighbourhood' consultation with particular emphasis on the future of St George library. German Playgroup at the Centre - Mondays during termtime 10am-12pm
We have a German Playgroup that meet at the centre on Mondays during term time 10am-12pm. This group is for parents and carers who speak German with their children. The group is drop in with a £3 charge per family.
The group sing German songs, read stories, carry out seasonal arts and crafts, whilst also celebrating German festivals. There is also a German libary where children can borrow German books. Please see http://www.spielgruppe-bristol.org for more information.

Why not hire the centre for your child's birthday party? The light airy hall holds up to 100 people and there is a separate kitchen with tea urn, fridge and microwave, as well as an outdoor area.
